Our Mexico Trip - 2008

So the entire family flew down to Mexico for Easter. It was the first time I (Derek) had ever been to Mexico City and boy is that city large. After our ride to the Palme's house to have a little breakfast, we jumped in the cars and drove to Arturo Ortega's ranch outside of Valle de Bravo. The ranch is absolutely amazing with waterfalls, horses, a giant kids area and its own zoo! Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope to go back very soon. Here are some photos to enjoy.

The Overbeys and Baxters go to the Capitola Art and Wine Festival

We headed out to stroll the streets of the great little beach town of Capitola. We tasted some good and some not so good wine and Topher had a great time getting his face painted.

Jeni had a craving for Benihana's Restaurant and Topher had never been in front of the Grill. We went with Keith and Mindi and had a wonderful time.

I'm Back!

Okay it has been almost five months since my last post. Since this is now one of my duties in my new job at Roost.com (http://www.roost.com), I'm going to make a huge effort to keep this updated. And not with just photos but I'm going to write interesting and ground shaking commentary that will make you come back time after time. Maybe I'm full of a little you know what but I will try my best to keep this as current as possible. First post will be tomorrow.
